an 11-year-old girl knocked down, a call for witnesses launched

The investigation into the accident in which an 11-year-old girl was hit by a car, in Riom (Puy-de-Dôme), continues. This Monday, police have launched an appeal for witnessesreports La Montagne.

On Thursday, October 10, a schoolgirl was hit by a car on a pedestrian crossing at an intersection regulated by a traffic light. Immediately taken care of by emergency services, the schoolgirl was transferred to Clermont-Ferrand hospital in serious condition. Ten days after the accident, the victim is still hospitalized in a worrying conditionspecifies the daily.

Investigators from the Accident Brigade at the Riom police station are now looking for two people, including a young girl who accompanied the victim on the day of the accident. Law enforcement also hopes to find a motorist driving a white car who has still not come forward.
