Around 3 p.m. this Sunday, October 20, firefighters were called to intervene at 110 rue Nationale, in downtown Forbach.
“A slab would have collapsed on the first floor of this apparently uninhabited building,” confides one of the deputy mayors, Jérémy Lauer, present on site.

The Forbach firefighters hired reinforcements specializing in rescue and clearance, to assess the risk of the structure collapsing. An intervention which requires the complete shutdown of traffic, cars, but also pedestrians, in the area.
