Tropical hurricane into which we like to throw ourselves wholeheartedly, the Franco-Colombian ensemble Pixvae announces a breathtaking return! Between the tangled roots of Afro-Colombian rhythms and melodies, the powerful sap of noise rock and the wild ramifications of mischievous jazz, indulge in a festive evening! A first part with The Strangler
In the first part, the public will discover The Stranglera quartet that plays an undefined form of minimalist rock and four-part free song.
The group amplifies the dialogue between a pedal harp in speckled maple and a djéli n’goni in goatskin, on the archaic grooves of a bass drum adorned with trinkets.
The refuge of L’Étrangleuse is a Tuareg tent lost in the immensity of the frozen tundra, where the spirits of The Ex and Brigitte Fontaine foment the secret anthems of a new world order, finally governed by poetry.
