Bis! The hammer throwers of Clermont Athlé retained their title this Saturday, in Blois, during the first day of the Coupe de France.
Led by Olympian Yann Chaussinand, winner of the competition with a throw of 73.99 m achieved on his 3rd attempt, the Clermontois (7. Benjamin Roddier, 58.59 m; 10. Nicolas Fédit, 54.72 m; 11. Hugo Besseyre, 54.65 m), in the same configuration as last year, left, like last year, silver to the Amiens of Jean-Baptiste Bruxelle (2.64.26 m). With a total of 231.16 m, the Picards were 10.79 m behind (241.95 m for the CAA).
