Prison guard attacked at his home in Seine-Saint-Denis: a new suspect arrested in

His genetic fingerprint was allegedly found at the scene. A man suspected of having taken part in the attack on a prison guard at his home in (Seine-Saint-Denis) at the end of September was arrested on Wednesday in , we learned on Saturday from the public prosecutor’s office , confirming information from BFMTV.

The genetic fingerprint of this man was discovered on the doorbell of the apartment of the attacked supervisor, reveals BFMTV. He was presented Friday to a judge of freedoms and detention (JLD) of the Bobigny judicial court, the prosecution said.

Three suspects had already been taken into custody in this case on October 7 and 8. Two of them – a man and a young woman – were indicted and placed in pre-trial detention on the night of October 11 to 12. The third person arrested was exonerated.

Three people, masked and armed with a handgun, showed up on September 26 at the home of a guard at the Santé prison in Montreuil. They had hit him several times in the face.

Before leaving the scene, the attackers had made “threats related to the agent’s work”, according to the prosecution. Also present, his partner had not been hit, but she had been shocked by the attack.

An investigation was opened into violence and threats with weapons against a person holding public authority and entrusted to the Seine-Saint-Denis judicial police.
