Holmarcom puts Crédit du Maroc securities on sale for 1 billion dirhams

The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) validated, on Friday, the prospectus relating to the offer for sale to the public of Crédit du Maroc securities held by Holmarcom Finance Company.

This operation, whose subscription period runs from October 28 to November 1 at 3:30 p.m. inclusive, concerns a total amount of more than 1.03 billion dirhams (billion dirhams), with 1,229,577 shares to be sold, indicates the AMMC in a press release.

The subscription price is set at 850 dirhams per share (excluding specific discount), specifies the same source, adding that the nominal value is 100 dirhams.

The Holmarcom group holds 78.7% of the bank’s capital. The securities put up for sale thus represent some 10% of its assets in the bank.

Last June, the group finalized the acquisition of the entire stake of Crédit Agricole SA () in the capital of Crédit du Maroc, with the aim of making it “a modern, innovative financial operator committed to serving citizens and national businesses.”
