A police officer and an armed man were shot and injured during an intervention this Friday evening in Saint-Herblain, in Loire-Atlantique, declared the Nantes prosecutor’s office and the Minister of the Interior.
“(Friday) evening in Saint Herblain, a 25-year-old BAC police officer was injured by a firearm during an intervention“, wrote this Saturday morning on X (formerly Twitter) the Minister of the Interior, Bruno Retailleau, who welcomed the “courage” from the agent.

The accused then released his dog on the police officers, who shot the animal “aith their service weapon“.
