Include students

Presented in the form of a trunk, the Adapta Box contains tools adapted to children with disabilities, with explanatory sheets for teachers. Reading ruler, noise-cancelling headphones, abacus, ergonomic scissors, hourglasses, pictograms… Around fifteen accessories designed to make students’ lives easier dyslexic, dyscalculic, dyspraxichaving disorders ofattention are thus provided in this new kind of box.

The City has signed an agreement with the Créteil academy and the association An inclusive school for all which allows each elementary school to be provided with two trunks, on an experimental basis. The city’s goal is, if the year of experience works well, to open this trunk during extracurricular times for which the City is responsible and to the students of nursery schools.

For many years, the city has been mobilizing for the inclusion of people with disabilities, both in and out of school. For example, for two years, all municipal staff working with children have been trained to support students with disabilities.
