Bad weather south of : the A47 has reopened

Announcement from the Minister of Transport this Friday afternoon.

Certainly a relief for motorists. The A47 between Saint-Etienne and was to reopen this Saturday morning from 6 a.m. in both directions of traffic. It was the Minister of Transport, François Durovray, who made the announcement this Friday afternoon during his trip to Givors, a town particularly affected by Thursday’s bad weather.

Finally, the axis was able to reopen at 3 a.m.

The A47 had been closed from interchange no. 11 “” and at the Ternay junction with diversions for cars via the A89 and the A72 or the D432 and the A450. Massive pumping operations had been put in place requiring the reinforcement of specialized national resources.

Concerning train traffic between Lyon and Saint-Etienne, traffic should not resume until “several days”indicates the minister.
