On the program? A day full of activity for dachshunds, their owners or simply for lovers of this dog breed. Among the activities, there will be a of course the dachshundsthe “Dachshund Run”. The dogs, often called “sausage dogs”, will be disguised as… hot-dogs ! They will then compete to see who will cross the finish line first.
A play area without a collar, with several obstacles, will also allow these little balls of fur to have fun in complete freedom. There will also be a dachshund market where you can discover creations for dogs, a dog café and also a conference with canine behavior specialists.
Brussels will host a festival for the first time… for dogs!
The event promises to bring together nearly 100 dachshunds, but also to support a good cause. Indeed, the profits from TeckelFest will be donated to l’association Animal Trust VZW.
