Stade Marivalois: raising your standards

Once is not customary, it is this Saturday evening that Stade Marivalois is preparing to play its fifth day of the championship, in Saint-Cernin. If the two teams know and respect each other, the fight risks being no less indecisive and fierce.
In this group 8 of Fédérale 3, the Cantaliens are to be credited with a decent start to the season. They won twice at home against Lévézou and Bressols, and narrowly lost away (to Rodez and Nègrepelisse). A team with a reputation for toughness and always in place, it will take all the commitment of the Marivalois to bring back points from the board.
The Lotois are still on alternating current. Defeated during the first two days, they recovered excellently against Saint-Astier/Neuvic for a resounding victory at the end of September. We thought they were liberated, but their first half against the Bugue leader last weekend was completely unsuccessful, and despite a good comeback in the second half, they lost by one point.
The “Red and Yellow” are, however, capable of the best as soon as they give themselves the means.
Their offensive game is in place, they score several tries in each match, but their mental commitment is sometimes lacking.
You will have to raise your standards to compete this Saturday evening at the Moulin à vent. A victory would see them move back into the mid-table pack.
In Excellence B, the Marivalois will also have a hard time facing a seasoned opponent. Their two recent consecutive victories have allowed them to gain confidence and certainty.
You will have to use it to achieve a large part. A success would bring them closer to the podium, and why not jostle for qualification. Even if the season is only just beginning. Kick-offs at 5:30 p.m. in Excellence B and at 7:15 p.m. in Federal 3.
Also note that the cadets and juniors are also going to Cantal this afternoon to face Stade Maursois.
