Founded in 2017 by four students at the CNSM in , the Mycélium Quartet will play K. 156 in G major on period instruments, with its sublime Adagio, the masterpiece of a 17-year-old Mozart, Opus 76 No. 3 by Haydn which includes variations on the Austrian imperial anthem that he himself composed, and extracts from the rarer “Scientific Quartet” by Antoine Reicha (1770-1836).

Galerie MAM and the Frac Nouvelle-Aquitaine are offering four works from their collections resonating with the memory of slavery, including the film “Mélas de Saturne” by Josèfa Ntjam, “There’s Only So Much A Neck Can Carry” by Otobong Nkanga, “Bimbia and “Witness object, subject” by Alexis Peskine.
