Swore. Escape game, ghosts… Something to enjoy with the family during the holidays!

Hunt the ghosts of Saint-Claude and unlock the secrets of Haut-Jura

The upper Jura is full of legends and popular stories: the ghost of the Chevalier de Bonlieu, the Vouivre, this half-woman, half-snake creature… But did you know that damned spirits prowled the pipe capital, in Saint- Claudius? Here are the Haut-Jura residents in deep trouble… Until November 3, the Tourist Office is offering little detectives the opportunity to track down the ghosts hidden in 12 emblematic places in the city.

Download the app
To participate, nothing could be simpler: simply download the Jur’aventures application. “It’s an application that’s a bit like Pokémon Go. With the phone, you can search for ghosts throughout the city. The game lasts an hour,” explains Hortense Meynier, communications manager for the Haut-Jura Saint-Claude community of communes.

“Discover the territory differently”
Do ghosts scare you? No worries: explore the peaceful village of Septmoncel instead. Jur’aventures offers the brand new course entitled The Healing Precious Stone. Three characters invite you to go in search of secrets through a series of courses combining games and puzzles, in augmented reality, over a 1.5 kilometer route. The game, suitable for families, allows you to “be able to discover the territory differently”, underlines Hortense Meynier.
