Three artists “stand their ground”

Eymoutiers. Three artists “stand their ground”. The Tenir Tête exhibition will be held at number 1 of Impasse Chopin in Eymoutiers from October 18 to 20.

This exhibition of paintings and writings brings together the artists Daphné Bitchatch, André Robèr and Sergiu Zancu; each of them expressing themselves via the media that speak to them.

So, Sergiu Zancu is a painter above all and is passionately invested in the living reality of the world, inspired by the temptation to capture it in its constantly moving immanence because this capture is still there but also in the process of becoming. He makes the permanent transformation of things the keystone of his creation. At the same time, he is heir to an iconic hieraticism of Romanian painting from which he seeks fundamental and timeless truths.

Andre Robert he is a poet, painter and editor. He created the K’A editions bringing together poems in Creole, the Paraules editions for poetry and art essays in Catalan, Occitan and French. He is at the initiative of the brand new Capses collection, the second collection of which is devoted to a text by the Palestinian writer Elias Sambar and Patrick Loste. “Strength and determination, I found them thanks to my relationship with anarchist individualism and in creation.”

Daphne Bitchatch is also a painter, she also creates assemblage-sculptures and writes for Editions Behind La Salle de Bain and Æncrages & Co. With her husband, she settled in Eymoutiers; they decided to open their house “under construction” to different artistic events. Daphné Bitchatch also created a fund of art, poetry and literature of universal expression at the public reading library in Ségou, Mali.

To have. This exhibition of paintings and writings Tenir tête will be visible for three days; on the 18th, the site is open at 6 p.m. for the opening during which “malicious songs” by Catamavra will resonate, on October 19 to 20, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. This house “under construction” is at 1, impasse Chopin.
