Colonel Laurent NOBEL, commander of the Adapted Military Service (RSMA) regiment of Guadeloupe, and Mr. Saïd AHAMADA, Director General of the Overseas Mobility Agency (LADOM) signed on October 16 2024, a new partnership agreement. This partnership aims to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions, within the framework of mobility, training and professional integration of young Guadeloupeans and Saint-Martin residents.

The partnership agreement in Guadeloupe revolves around financing the trip for:

• Mobility training outside Guadeloupe, the community of Saint-Martin and the community of Saint-Barthélemy towards mainland , Corsica, Guyana, , Mayotte, and certain destinations in international due to unavailability of training locally;

• Taking up a position in mainland France upon proof of a promise of employment for an employment contract of indefinite duration or a fixed-term employment contract of more than six months;

• Validation of acquired knowledge and experience on the mobility certification part in mainland France, when the validation session cannot take place locally.

This partnership thus promotes access to mobility training for job seekers presented by the RSMA of Guadeloupe and strengthens mutual knowledge of the integration and support systems implemented by each of the two partners.
