Zoé Moody elected coordinator responsible for the European Educational Research Association network

Researcher at the UNIGE Interfaculty Center for Children’s Rights and professor at the HEP-VS, Zoé Moody was elected responsible coordinator (Link Convenor) of the European Educational Research Association (EERA) network devoted to research on children’s rights in educational contexts.

In this new role, Zoé Moody will be responsible for strengthening the development and influence of the “Research on Children’s Rights in Education” network, on a European and international scale, by stimulating diverse collaborations and promoting high quality research. In her research and teaching activities within the Interfaculty Center for Children’s Rights and the HEP-VS, she mobilizes disciplinary contributions mainly from social psychology, educational sciences and sociology of childhood (childhood studies) and anchors them in the field of interdisciplinary studies in children’s rights. His research focuses on children, social interactions, developmental trajectories as well as learning to live together.

EERA, which brings together more than 40 national and regional research associations across Europe, occupies a central place in the development and support of research in the service of education and society. This interdisciplinary network addresses a wide range of ethical, methodological, legal, psycho-sociological and pedagogical issues, in order to better understand children’s rights and contribute to their implementation in education systems, in Europe and beyond.
