This will not entirely be the case since the deployment will also reach the bowels of the Stade de France, when it is usually more concentrated on the surroundings of the enclosures. “We spoke about it with the Minister of the Interior, Bruno Retailleau,” continues the Paris police prefect. “There will be an extremely reinforced security system which will be of a very high standard, both to avoid disturbances outside the enclosure and inside. To ensure that people enter safely, there will be significant searches and above all a large security system outside and inside the stadium.”

“This will be seen with the French Football Federation,” he adds. “It’s not usual to be inside the stadium. We work with the FFF because it’s a high-risk match. We are required by the organizer, the FFF. In the system that I am preparing and which I will present to the minister, I am preparing for all the hypotheses, including that of having to go inside to avoid incidents. There will be a very high level of security. Everything will go well. “
The former national coordinator of intelligence and the fight against terrorism justifies such a degree of security by the state of the terrorist threat which remains “very high” in France. From a sporting point of view, this meeting could allow the players of the France team to validate their qualification for the quarter-finals of the Nations League.
