-Israel: the Blues match in the League of Nations will take place at the Stade de and with the public

-Israel will take place “under the usual conditions of a League of Nations meeting”. Announcement made this Tuesday by the police headquarters and Laurent Nuñez. As we announced to you a few days ago, the 5th day of the Nations League planned between the two teams will therefore be held at the Stade de France on November 14 and will “obviously” be open to the public, according to a press release.

For several weeks, the question of whether this meeting of the 5th day of the League of Nations would be played behind closed doors or in the presence of the public had been asked due to the context of war in the Middle East. A time mentioned, the hypothesis of the closed session was not retained. Once official, the information should lead to the opening of the ticket office for this poster undoubtedly classified as a risk.

Philippe Diallo weighed in

Due to the armed conflict in the Middle East, Israel must play its home games in Budapest, Hungary, like last Thursday when the French team visited it. Same when he “received” Italy on September 9. On the other hand, Belgium refused to welcome Israel on its territory and the match was relocated to Debrecen, still in Hungary, on September 6.

Philippe Diallo, the president of the French Federation, did not accept these conditions. The leader would have experienced the impossibility of receiving the Israeli national team in France as a defeat for sport and a certain ideal of fraternity. He put all his weight behind the authorities (police, various ministries) so that this France-Israel took place like any home match and in the Blues’ usual stadium, the Stade de France open to the public.
