The Little Singers of will be in concert in Armentières (North) Saturday October 19 at 8:15 p.m., at Saint-Vaast church. The profits will go towards renovating the church furniture.

Returning from a tour which took them in April 2024 to the USA, California, Nevada, and in July to and Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Petits Chanteurs de France hit the road again for a series of concerts in Hauts-de-France and Belgium.

Created in 2013

Created in 2013, this choir of boys, aged 8 to 20, is dedicated to choral singing and combines it with an educational and cultural vocation. Under the direction of Véronique Thomassin, choir director and musical director of the Petits Chanteurs à la de from 1999 to 2011, concerts in France and abroad follow one another!

Very eclectic, the repertoire of the Petits Chanteurs de France will give you something to hear the most beautiful pages of classical music: from Gregorian chant to Renaissance polyphony, from Vivaldi’s Gloria to Handel’s Alleluia, via Caccini’s Ave Maria, Mozart’s Ave Verum…

The second part of the concert, more modern, will take you on a journey between Broadway, with extracts from musicals and soundscapes from France or elsewhere with the greatest hits of Charles Trenet, Joe Dassin, Charles Aznavour, Léonard Cohen…

After Armentières, they will be in Bapaume on October 21 and in Solesmes on October 22.
