The nonagenarian from Vaux-le-Pénil (Seine-et-Marne) is among the 631 beneficiaries of the Association for home care and services in the Melun region (Assad RM). The structure, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this Tuesday, October 15, has become the largest entity of its type in Seine-et-Marne and a pillar for seniors and their families in 19 municipalities located in the Melun Val de agglomeration community. Seine as well as Savigny-le-Temple, Nandy, Cesson and Vert-Saint-Denis. It has 130 home helpers (including only one man) who provide 75,000 hours of work per year. Needs which have exploded, compared to 1974 when it started with 26 employees for 2,608 hours serving 102 elderly people.
