Following the significant floods that occurred last week in several departments, including Essonne, the General Directorate of Civil Security and Crisis Management (DGSCGC) decided to activate an accelerated procedure for recognition of the state natural disaster. Applications must be submitted as quickly as possible before Thursday October 17 at 5 p.m.
Files for municipal requests for recognition of the state of natural disaster must be submitted online now.
This approach concerns the municipalities of Essonne which were impacted by flooding linked to runoff phenomena and river overflows, occurring between Wednesday October 9 and Sunday October 13, 2024. The objective of this accelerated procedure is to reduce instruction times compared to the traditional procedure. The municipalities concerned are therefore invited to submit their file before Thursday October 17, 2024, 5 p.m.on the IcatNat online platform.
These requests will be examined during the interministerial committee scheduled for Tuesday, October 22.
