A minibus carrying eight high school students and their companion catches fire on the road in Val d’Aigoual

Luckily, the eight high school students and the driver got out of the vehicle in time.

Monday October 14, in the morning, firefighters intervened for a feu of minibuses. On board, eight teenagers from the Victor-Hugo high school in and their companion.

No injuries to report

They were heading towards the Mont-Aigoual climatograph. Fortunately, it was only after the vehicle had stopped that it quickly caught fire.

No injuries is not to be deplored. The teenagers and their companion were picked up and transported to their school with another vehicle.

For their part, the Vigan firefighters and the Tonne Pump Van from the Vigan rescue center extinguished the fire.

Traffic was blocked on this axis for several minutes in the presence of the Gard gendarmerie and the roads services of the Gard Departmental Council.
