Val d’Aigoual: a minibus carrying 8 teenagers catches fire on the road – News –

The worst was avoided this morning in Val d’Aigoual. firefighters were called to intervene on a fire affecting a minibus transporting teenagers from the Victor Hugo high school in . Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

This morning, on the way to the Mont Aigoual climatograph, a minibus, carrying eight students and their companion, caught fire. After stopping, their vehicle quickly caught fire.

The Vigan firefighters, accompanied by the Tonne Pump Van from the rescue center, quickly went to the site to bring the fire under control. Traffic on this axis was temporarily blocked to allow a safe intervention.

The Gard gendarmerie and agents from the Departmental Council roads service were also present to regulate traffic and ensure the safety of people on site.

The teenagers were quickly picked up by another vehicle from their establishment, allowing them to be evacuated to their destination without incident.
