According to still provisional results, it was Pierre-Henri Pingeon and Laurent Thurnherr, from the PLR-PS-Le Center and the Verts union list, who received the most votes in the second round of the election to the Court of Auditors, organized this Sunday, October 13 in Geneva. If the results are confirmed, they will complete the college of six magistrates who make up the body. Four other candidates, belonging to the same list, were elected in the first round on September 22.
Pierre-Henri Pingeon (PLR) is ahead of the independent and former federal prosecutor Félix Reinmann by 2,937 votes for the post of titular magistrate. The position of substitute magistrate goes to PLR Laurent Thurnherr (23,496 votes). He will not be able to be overtaken by the candidate of the Liberties and Social Justice movement Sandra Golay, who obtains 14,571 votes. These anticipated results are based on counting of postal votes.
