Nestled in the heart of the Bray region, this residence dating from the 14th century was the property of the family of Charles Gervais, founder of the Gervais cheese dairy which marketed Petit-Suisse.

“Over the centuries, it has undergone numerous modifications. Charles Gervais’ son added a wing to the original building,” says the new owner of the premises.

The castle is surrounded by a parc more than 4 hectares, with century-old trees. A true haven of peace which invites you to take long bucolic walks with companions deer et squirrels.

The idea of leaving emerged for the family during the health crisis.

Not born chatelain

Since the acquisition last year, when they are not working, they spend their days renovating the castle according to the rules of the art. “We realized that we didn’t need as much space for ourselves.”

The goal was therefore to restore part of it for them and transform the rest into a guest room.

The priority being the Bed and Breakfast part. “We were not born chatelains. Even though we participate in catering and earn a decent living, it has a cost,” explains the man who specializes in computer programming.

The objective is to offer a total change of scenery for a night or a weekend. And to allow everyone to enjoy a timeless moment.
