At 1:40 p.m., when a mother had just dropped off her child, she noticed that smoke was coming from the hood of her vehicle. The driver got out of her cabin.

The vehicle quickly caught fire and was burned in the parking lot of the Léodile-Bera college in Longlaville. Firefighters intervened with a pump van to put out the fire. Police officers from the Mont-Saint-Martin police station were also present on the scene.
