Rise of the RN in : there is nothing “inevitable”, believes Clémence Guetté

LFI MP for Val-de- Clémence Guetté is going to this Friday to present a work on the rise of the National Rally in . She says she wants to “unmask the social scam that the RN represents”.

She comes to present a book dealing with the rise of the far righton land partly acquired from the National Rally during the last elections. The France insoumise MP from Val-de-Marne, Clémence Guetté, is visiting Metz, Friday October 11, to talk about the collective work Far right, the resistible riseat the young workers’ center in Pilâtre-de-Rozier. The vice-president of the National Assembly insisted on coming to the former constituency of Charlotte Leduc, former LFI deputy defeated in the last legislative elections.

“We want to challenge the idea of ​​an inevitable rise in power of the National Rally and the extreme right in this country”explains Clémence Guetté, guest of France Bleu Lorraine this Friday. “I believe that the French are not predominantly far-right. We target abstainers, perhaps those who no longer believe in it. And we are also keen to unmask the social scam that the National gathering.”

“Go and convince on the ground”

Faced with the victories of RN deputies in deindustrialized territories, “it is clear that we must question ourselves”recognizes the LFI MP. “Political life is a business of conviction and therefore we must continue to show that the question of sharing wealth is the central question in these cities. Abstention is breaking records because there is disgust, the feeling that politics no longer changes anything. In any case, it will be a long-term undertaking to convince people, door after door in the field.”
