“Les Concerts de Poche” opens the fall-winter season

Classical music roaming the neighborhoods and villages of : this is the concept designed by the “Les Concerts de Poche” association. In Seine-et-, from October to February, several concerts and participatory musical workshops (more than 200 hours planned) will take place in this wayin village halls, churches and gymnasiums. It is sometimes even planned for spectators and musicians to join together on stage to form a choir!

“A varied and demanding program”

This new fall-winter season 2024-2025 was opened on October 8 at Les Ecrennes with the choreographed concert Luksad by the Filipendule ensemble (bass clarinet and dance). Others will follow in nine other Seine-et-Marnaises municipalities until February 7.

The “Les Concerts de Poche” association continues to mobilizemany artists and to make “a varied and demanding program in the service of social cohesionthe dynamism of territories and support for talented performers“.

Expected this season are the Modigliani quartet, Philippe Cassard, Jean-François Zygelas well as young groups like the Parhélie trio.

Before each concert, “Music in progress” workshops (between four and eight hours) will be set up in various places (school, nursing homes, social centers and prisons, etc.).

  • October 15: (Blandy-les-): Thomas Dunford (lute).
  • November 14 (Mary-sur-Marne): Akilone quartet (strings) and Manuel Vioque-Judde (viola). Lieusaint: Elmire Quartet (strings), Laurent Marfaing (viola) and François Kieffer (cello).
  • November 18 (Rebais): writing workshops and setting to music. December 8 (Grandpuits-Bailly-Carrois): Parhélie trio (violin, cello and peacock).
  • December 14 (Rebais): Philippe Graffin (violin), and Pierre-Alain Braye-Weppe (harpsichord).
  • January 11 (Châtres): Delphine Haidan (mezzo-soprano) and Dana Ciocarlie (piano).
  • January 28 (Yèbles): Jean-François Zygel (piano).
  • February 4 (): Ermitage duo (cello and piano).
  • February 7 (Sammeron): Henri Demarquette (cello).
