“The situation is not alarming, but we must prevent it from becoming so, while repression is intensifying, particularly in Yverdon. Hiring a local social worker would allow more presence at night and on weekends. Municipal in charge of the population, Edouard Noverraz thus summarizes the various measures that Payerne is putting in place against open-air drug trafficking. The surroundings of the station, but also the schools, are particularly monitored.

While the cities of Lausanne, Vevey and Yverdon recently launched a call for help in the canton faced with the proliferation of the deal, security sessions are increasing in the main town of Broyard. “An awareness advertising campaign must begin in November,” the councilor also presented on Thursday to the Municipal Council, in response to a question from Anaïs Bidiville (PSIP).
