This is unfortunately not the first time Bram has faced such wrongdoing. A few months ago, homophobic tags had already stained these same walls. This Thursday, December 10 in the morning, hateful tags bearing the inscription “Long live Israel, death to France” were discovered on the walls of the Saint-Exupéry college grounds, in Bram. Immediately, a complaint was filed with the gendarmerie, who opened an investigation and dispatched criminal identification technicians to identify the perpetrator(s) of these acts, while the technical services were to proceed with the deletion. tags as soon as the investigators’ clue readings are completed.

The municipality reacted quickly with a press release condemning in the strongest terms these acts of vandalism and the hateful messages: “These unacceptable tags constitute a serious attack on the values ​​of our Republic and the cohesion of our community. We would like to reaffirm our position : Bram is a city that is open, tolerant and respectful of all its residents, regardless of their origins, beliefs or orientations. We call on all citizens of Bram to remain united in the face of these provocations which aim to divide our community. and intolerance have no place in our city”, writes the spokesperson for the Bram Horizon municipal majority group, Xavier Beaujard.
