Interpol launches an appeal to identify 46 women, including one found dead in -Atlantique

The International Criminal Police Organization launched a new call for witnesses this Tuesday, October 8, in order to identify around forty women who died in Europe in recent decades. Among them, a woman whose body was discovered on the side of a road in Cellier (-Atlantique) in 1982.

What was “the woman in pink”, “the introvert” or “the girl with the 10 pence coin” called before dying in suspicious circumstances and being nicknamed thus by investigators?

The International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) has launched a new call for witnesses, called “Identify me” in order to identify around forty women who have died in Europe over the past decades.

Seven cases in

Among these cold cases, seven cases in France between 1982 and 2021, including one in the West. This is a woman found on the side of a road in Loire-Atlantique, on November 25, 1982, in the commune of Cellier, near Ancenis. This is the oldest case.

For each victim, the organization publishes on its site a facial reconstruction, details concerning the location and condition in which they were found or photos of clothing or jewelry discovered at the scene.
