Big names will participate in the Open 2024

The 21st edition of the Open will be held from November 2 to 9, 2024 at the Arènes de . The official list has just been revealed this Tuesday, October 8 at Academos, in Verny.

The Moselle Open and its director Julien Boutter unveiled, Tuesday October 8, the official list of the tournament which will begin in a few weeks. Here are the headliners:

  • Ugo Humbert. 15th in the ATP rankings. After winning the 20th edition of the Moselle Open, the Mosellan is putting his title back on the line. He will be seeded n°3.
  • Casper Ruud. 9th in the ATP rankings. The Norwegian will participate in the tournament again. As a reminder, the player managed to qualify for the final of Roland Garros in 2023, against Novak Djokovic.
  • Holger Rune. 14th in the ATP rankings.
  • Sebastian Korda. 19th in the ATP rankings.
  • Félix Auger-Aliassime. 22nd in the ATP rankings. The Canadian returns for the second time.
  • Karen Khachanov. 25th in the ATP rankings.

Beaten by Ugo Humbert in the final, Alexander Shevchenko, 58e, will be there and he intends to take his revenge. The American Alex Michelsen, 43rd, the German Jan-Lennard Struff39th and the French Adrian Mannarino,53rd, will also be present on the court.

From the draw to the Final: the program of the week

For this 21st edition, Moselle Open pulled out all the stops. For the first time, the draw for the qualifying tables, singles and doubles, will be accessible to the public, the Friday, November 1, at 7 p.m.. Qualifying will take place on November 2, starting at 11 a.m. The quarter-finals (singles and doubles) are scheduled for Thursday November 7, from 12 p.m. The semi-finals will be held on Friday November 8 from 1:30 p.m. Finally, see you on Saturday November 9 for the most anticipated moment of the tournament, with the doubles final at 2 p.m., and the singles final at 4:30 p.m..

Yannick Noah, Stomy Bugsy & Passi en showcases au club

The Moselle Open is not just tennis. Many activities are organized during the event. Among them, three showcases, organized at the club. The two emblematic figures of French rap, Stomy Bugsy and Passi will be present Monday November 4. The singer and former tennis player Yannick Noah will return to the Moselle Open on Wednesday November 6. The French DJ Jenny Preston will ignite the tournament on Friday November 8.
