According to actu.fr, a violent altercation took place in Maxéville, near Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle), when a woman, victim of psychological violence, hit her partner with her car. The events occurred after the woman, aged around 30, was preparing to go to the police to file a complaint against her partner.
The latter, wanting to prevent him from leaving their home, stood in front of his vehicle and began to hit the windshield with a knife. Faced with this attack, the woman, panicked, accelerated to flee, knocking over her companion in her flight.
The man placed in administrative detention
After the incident, the woman returned to the scene, where police were already waiting for her. Her partner, also aged around 30, was hospitalized after suffering minor head injuries, but his life is not in danger. He was diagnosed with temporary incapacity for work.
The police quickly took charge of the case, taking both people into custody to better understand the circumstances. The woman was released with a warning, while her companion, illegally present in the country, was placed in an administrative detention center.
