Of the thunderstorms hit a good part of the country, Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 October 2024. Météo placed, in its 4 p.m. bulletin, nine departments in orange and several others in yellow.

The department of -Atlantique was placed on yellow alert for the day of Tuesday from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m.

According to Guillaume Séchetmeteorologist and founder of the Météo-villes site, it is the consequence of the “vast depression Gerda which is currently circulating off the coast of Ireland, and which is approaching France”, he indicates to actu.fr.

What is the weather forecast for this Tuesday?

According to Weather Francethe risk of thunderstorms will be present from the morning on Saint-Nazaire, Pornic et Pontchâteau. The sky will be very cloudy over the rest of the department although clearings are expected in Nantes. Temperatures will range between 15°C and 16°C, which is quite high for a morning.

The risk of thunderstorms will subsequently extend over the entire department. The thermometer will reach 19°C on Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu and will stabilize between 17°C and 18°C ​​in the rest of Loire-Atlantique.
