A Congolese woman mobilizes TikTok for her missing daughter in Quebec

This is the date on which Alexandra Martine Diengo Lumbayi (aka Alexya Martina), a 21-year-old young woman studying at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières (UQTR), was last seen. A heartfelt cry launched on TikTok by his mother, who lives in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, has been viewed several thousand times.

What we know about the disappearance of Alexya Martina
- She was last seen around 3:40 p.m. on October 2.
- It was located in the Saint-Quentin Island sector, in Trois-Rivières.
- According to police, his cell phone has not sent a signal since Wednesday.

Unsuccessful searches

Searches were carried out Friday, Saturday and Sunday to try to find the young woman. Divers from the Sûreté du Québec notably provided assistance to investigators from the Trois-Rivières police with regard to searches on the water.

Student mobilization
Part of the UQTR student community mobilized to try to find the young woman. Around thirty students from Cameroon, Congo and Senegal put up posters all over the facilities on Saint-Quentin Island. Anyone with information is invited to contact the Trois-Rivières police.
