The General Directorate of Elections (DGE) has delivered its verdict concerning the declarations of candidacy for the early legislative elections of November 17, 2024. Of the 49 files submitted, 41 were accepted, while the unsuccessful candidates have 24 hours to contest this decision to the Constitutional Council before publication of the final list.
This crucial stage in the electoral process is accompanied by the hope and anticipation of the different parties and coalitions. Among the lists selected, we find a diversity of political groups which will compete to obtain seats in the new National Assembly.

This selection represents a defining moment in the Senegalese political landscape, as actors prepare to fight to win the trust of voters.
