Immediately, Ayoub Saadaoui (23rd, 2-1) responded to revive the Blues, but nothing worked.
More experienced, Ukraine quickly increased the score thanks to a double from Yevheni Zhuk (27th, 28th) then the French brought out their goalkeeper to bring in an outfield player and try to get back on track. But the avalanche did not stop, and the Ukrainians even accelerated their march towards the bronze medal with a hat-trick from Danyil Abakshyn (30th, 30th, 33rd).
