Passionate about football since his childhood, he played in various clubs such as Endoume, Athlético de Marseille, Fos-sur-Mer, Carnoux, Saint-Zacharie and Six-Fours-les-Plages.

The district paid tribute to his memory by evoking his role as “player, captain, educator and technical manager”and the Saint-Zacharie club observed a minute of silence in his honor at the François Coulomb stadium.
