Charges related to pornography
Scammers present themselves as the Vaud cantonal police and contact individuals. The method is known but continues to cause victims. This is a charge relating to internet pornography. The police invite anyone who receives this type of canvassing not to follow up and to contact the nearest police station.
Fake police officers also at home
Other scammers also regularly pose physically as law enforcement. Two women suspected of having stolen money from elderly people, disguised as police officers, were notably arrested in Morges and Moudon in the canton of Vaud recently.
