Moroccan local products in the spotlight at the -Morocco Culinary Diplomacy Meetings

The diversity of Moroccan local products was highlighted on Saturday in ( region), during the 4th edition of the “-Morocco Culinary Diplomacy Meetings”.

This event, which aims in particular to highlight the historical links and fraternity between Morocco and France around the values ​​of sharing and conviviality, took visitors on a journey of flavors and Moroccan culinary know-how. .

Thus, a variety of products were exhibited in the stands set up for the occasion, including food and cosmetic products, aromatic and medicinal plants, essential oils, leather goods, as well as traditional clothing.

“These meetings celebrate the richness and diversity of our terroir, through a variety of products, presented by around thirty exhibitors, all from Morocco,” Naïma Sifer, president of the “Les Rencontres” Association, told MAP. of culinary diplomacy”, initiator of the event.

“This meeting is much more than a simple exhibition, but also a place for exchanges, sharing of expertise and discoveries,” she said, specifying that the profits from the event will be donated to charitable works, reflecting the Association’s desire to combine gastronomy and solidarity.

“The idea is to also promote the values ​​of solidarity, through culinary and gastronomy,” she underlined.

For Amina Boutaleb, an exhibitor of artisanal products from Fez, this event represents “a great opportunity” to introduce visitors, Moroccan or French, to the richness of the Kingdom’s artisanal and culinary heritage.

Each piece, she said, is the result of ancestral know-how, passed down from generation to generation, and testifies to the authenticity and passion of the artisans who created them.

The program of these meetings, which began on Friday with a charity gala, included culinary shows, master classes with renowned chefs, workshops, in addition to meetings between chefs, artisans, institutions and lovers of gastronomy and cultural exchanges.
