Mbour, Oct 5 (APS) – Head of State Bassirou Diomaye Faye arrived in Mbour (West), where he will officially launch the activities of the 5th national clean-up day (“Sétal sunu reew”) dedicated to educational establishments, noted the APS.
The presidential motorcade arrived at 10:05 a.m. at the open digital space (ENO), Cheikh Hamidou Kane, where it toured the premises.
At the scene, Mr. Faye was welcomed by the governor of the Thiès region, Saër Ndao and the prefect of the Mbour department, Amadou Diop.
After this stage, the President of the Republic will go to Demba Diop high school, where he completed his secondary studies (1997-2000), to officially launch the day’s activities.
At the Lycée Demba Diop, the largest school in the Mbour department with an enrollment of nearly 4,000 students, there is already excitement.
The various State services, populations, teachers and students mobilized from the early hours of the morning to welcome the Head of State.
