A tragic road accident occurred this Friday, October 4 around 10:30 p.m. on the A68 motorway, in the Toulouse East sector, near the toll barrier towards Albi. This accident cost the life of a 20-year-old young man and injured two people.
A collision between two cars
According to initial information, two vehicles collided on this section of the highway. When they arrived on the scene, the Haute-Garonne firefighters found one of the victims, a young man of 20, in cardiorespiratory arrest. Despite the efforts made by emergency services to resuscitate him, they were unfortunately unable to save him. The death was pronounced on the spot.
Two more injured
Two other people, men aged 25 and 28, were also injured in the accident. They were quickly taken care of by the emergency services, one having been transported to a local clinic and the other evacuated to the Toulouse University Hospital. Their state of health was not specified.
An open investigation
An investigation has been opened to shed light on the circumstances of this dramatic event. The exact causes of the collision remain unknown at this time, but local authorities are working to reconstruct what happened.
