He was also sentenced to 2,500 euros damages for moral harm, and 800 euros for legal costs, for each of the victims, as well as 1,000 euros for damages for France Télévisions and 800 euros for compensation for legal costs.
Stéphane Breitweiser was absent during the hearing this Friday. He was found guilty of attacking France 3 journalists as part of their public information service mission. Facts “inadmissible” for the public prosecutor, who had requested 10 months of imprisonment.
On March 13, 2023, before the same Sarreguemines criminal court, Stéphane Breitwieser rushed at journalists, accusing them of being responsible for the loss of his job.
