Haute-Savoie: the Bonneville motorized platoon is mobilizing for the benefit of Pink October

A On the occasion of Pink October, the Bonneville PMO (motorized platoon) is mobilizing, organizing a road safety action over two half-days. It will take place on Sunday, October 13, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the PMO in Bonneville.

Several workshops on the program

This day called “Traj en Rose” is divided into two parts. During the first half-day, the Bonneville PMO will offer simple handling workshops, which the participant carries out with their own motorcycle. The participant will also have the opportunity to take part in a workshop on motorcycle first aid, a workshop on road safety and another on motorcyclist equipment.

An 80 kilometer ride in small groups

During the second half-day, participants complete a route of 80 to 100 kilometers that they travel in small groups with a motorcycle policeman to discover the Safety Trajectory. “The idea being that the civilian motorcyclist, who uses his motorcycle exclusively for leisure or commuting, can feel more comfortable in handling his motorcycle, and acquire a few more tools, to evolve in safety while continuing to have fun while piloting your machine”indicates Chief Warrant Officer Piron.

During the day, other surprises awaiting the participants, a demonstration of the gendarmerie motorcyclists’ carousel and the participation of the Gravity Cône association which offers initiations on a Gymkhana course.

Finally, one or one of the participants will have the chance to win an In&motion airbag vest and its box worth more than 400 euros.

The registration amount (25 euros) of each participant will be entirely donated to the Savoie Women’s Breast Cancer Screening Committee. It consists of an exclusive donation to the association, which gives rise to tax exemption.
