Morocco and Mexico explore new opportunities for economic cooperation

As part of strengthening economic cooperation between Morocco and Mexico, the Minister of Industry and Commerce (MIC), Ryad Mezzour, recently met with Francisco Cervantes, president of the Mexican Economic Coordination Council (CCE). ).

Discussions focused on the development of strategic partnerships likely to boost trade between the two nations.

“We discussed strategic opportunities to develop trade, as well as explore new opportunities for economic collaboration between Morocco and Mexico. This primarily serves to strengthen the ties between our two countries,” said Ryad Mezzour.

With a Moroccan economy undergoing digital transformation and increased industrialization, the country is positioning itself as an international trade hub, connecting Europe, Africa and America. In this context, Mexico, with its geographic proximity to the United States and its privileged access to the North American market, represents a partner of choice for the kingdom.
