A huge puffball weighing more than 5 kilos found by an 11-year-old child in Moselle

A huge puffball weighing more than 5 kg was picked on Wednesday, October 2, in Moselle, in the Phalsbourg area. The happy mushroom hunter is an 11-year-old child who was walking with a friend, reports France Bleu.

“He is no longer good at heart.”

His find, which measures 83 by 43 centimeters and weighs precisely 5.7 kilos, was shared by his father on social networks, on the Facebook page of the “Champignons Moselle” amateur group.

“He sent me a photo for identification, and I asked him to take him home. Unfortunately, he is no longer good at heart,” his father commented.

The young picker also found other puffballs which were distributed to the whole family.
