New Brunswickers are invited to the polls on October 21 to elect the next provincial government. Here are the main election promises of the Progressive Conservatives, Greens and Liberals.

  • The Progressive Conservatives want to expand the scope of practice of health professionals, such as nurse practitioners, pharmacists and paramedics to make access to primary care more efficient.

  • The Greens unveiled their health plan which plans to adjust the salaries of nurses to those of the other maritime provinces and to create 70 collaborative family practice teams.
