And this Thursday, October 3, the Regulatory Authority for Audiovisual and Digital Communication (Arcom) announced in a press release that two of them, Eurosport 2 and Info, had not complied this year.

Pay channel bouquet Eurosport said it had only broadcast the required programs on the Eurosport 1 channel, leaving Eurosport 2 to fall by the wayside. As for the public continuous news channel France Info, it is among the culprits because it did not provide Arcom with its contribution for 2022 and 2023, unlike the France Télévisions channels which fulfilled their obligations. .

In total in 2022, of the 33 national channels concerned, 21 have fully applied the rules and 9 partially. Last year, there were more of them: out of 36 channels, 28 complied fully with the obligations and 6 partially. The “angles” proposed by the publishers were “varied, both in the context of amateur and professional sport, and sometimes specifically aimed at young audiences”, welcomes Arcom.
