Nathalie Kennedy, Ambassador of to Peru

Nathalie Kennedy (February 23, 1972) has been Ambassador of to Peru since October 2, 2024.

A graduate in economics of planning and local development from the University of 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne, Nathalie Kennedy is a career diplomat. She joined the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs in 1996 and initially held positions within the Financial Affairs Department. In 2002, she held her first post abroad, in London, as vice-consul at the French embassy in the United Kingdom.

In 2006, Ms. Kennedy was assigned to the human resources department of the ministry before joining, in 2009, the European Union department where she was more particularly responsible for monitoring the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean. In 2013, she was appointed to Madrid where she held the position of political advisor at the French Embassy in Spain.

On her return to Paris, in 2018, she was appointed head of the office for the protection of minors and the family then, in 2019, head of the mission for the protection of people’s rights within the Directorate of French people at home. foreigner and consular administration. In 2021, Ms. Kennedy was appointed to the United Arab Emirates as Consul General of France in Dubai and the Northern Emirates before returning to Lima and being appointed Ambassador of France on October 2, 2024.

Nathalie Kennedy was named a Knight of the National Order of Merit on November 30, 2019.
