The marathon of the Côte d’Amour arrives in great strides. Organized, the November 2 and 3, 2024the event will bring together more than 13 000 participants over 6 events which will take place in Guérande, La Baule, Batz-sur-Mer, Le Pouliguen and Le Croisic (Loire-Atlantique).

“A real popular festival”

“This event promises to be a true popular celebration, an unforgettable sporting moment, and a unique opportunity to highlight the Côte d’Amour,” indicate the organizers, the PGAC, athletic club de Guérande – La Baule and OC Sport, events agency specializing in sports.

The weekend program

• Saturday November 2 in Guérande: 4:30 p.m.: Galopades (500 children) – 6 p.m.: 5 km (500 bibs) – 7:30 p.m.: 10 km (2,500 bibs)
• Sunday November 3 from La Baule: 8:45 a.m.: Half marathon (4,000 participants) – 9:45 a.m.: Marathon and Relais Entreprises (5,800 runners)

“All profiles are welcome”

To make this weekend a success, the organizers are looking for volunteers ready to get involved alongside the runners.

All profiles are welcome. You just need to be of legal age, enthusiastic, and caring. A snack and an outfit in the colors of the event will be offered to each of those involved.

The missions are diverse and varied for the 700 volunteers mobilized: marshals to secure the routes, welcome participants and manage supplies installed in the 5 municipalities.
